App: Jewelers Handbook for iOS (iPhone and iPad) Developer: Pavel Yakimenko Contact: dreamcomenull@gmail.com Effective date: 26 October 2026

Summary

Jewelers Handbook works offline. The app has no sign-up or accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We do not sell or share your data. The only data that may reach us is anonymous crash reports through Apple's built-in mechanism, and only if you have allowed it.

Data stored on your device

Your saved pieces ("My pieces"), favorites and settings (theme, actual-size calibration) are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. If you use "Export JSON", the file goes wherever you choose to save or send it. Your device's own backups (for example, iCloud) may include app data, depending on your settings; those are handled by Apple under its privacy policy.

Data we collect

Crash reports. If the app crashes, iOS may create a technical crash report (device model, iOS version, app version, technical error log). Apple shares these reports with the developer only if "Share With App Developers" is turned on in the device settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements). Crash reports do not contain your name, email, or other contact details, are not linked to your identity, and are not used for tracking.

The app collects no other data. All handbook content is stored and opened on your device.

Support emails. If you email us, we receive your email address and your message and use them only to reply.

Purpose and legal basis

Crash reports are used only to find and fix bugs and keep the app stable. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): legitimate interest in diagnosing and fixing crashes. You control whether reports are sent in iOS settings. Support emails are processed to answer your request.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Crash reports are delivered through Apple's services. Apple's processing is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Retention

Crash reports are kept in App Store Connect / Xcode for the period set by Apple and are not copied to other systems. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To make a request, email dreamcomenull@gmail.com. Because crash reports are anonymous, we usually cannot link them to a specific person. You can turn off crash report sharing at any time in iOS settings. To delete everything the app stores on your device, delete the app.

Children

The app is not aimed at children under 13 and collects no personal data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date.
