About the app

Fridge Pick helps you choose quick dishes from what’s in your fridge. Mark the products you have in My fridge, see which dishes you can make now and what’s missing, or tap I’m hungry for suggestions. It also includes recipes, nutrition info, allergen markers, a week plan and a shopping list. No account is needed, and everything you enter stays on your device. Read the full manual.

Common questions

How do I report a bug or suggest an improvement?

Email dreamcomenull@gmail.com with your device model, iOS or Android version, the app version and what happened. A screenshot helps a lot.

Where is my data stored, and how do I delete it?

Your fridge products, dish history, favorites, week plan, shopping list, allergy and kitchen settings are stored only on your device. The app has no accounts and never sends this data anywhere. In the app you can clear My fridge (Clear all), the week plan (Clear week) and change your allergy and kitchen settings at any time. To delete all app data at once, uninstall the app (on Android you can also use Settings → Apps → Fridge Pick → Storage → Clear storage).

Does the app work offline?

Yes. All dishes, recipes and photos are built into the app, so it works fully without an internet connection. The app never connects to the internet; you only need internet to install and update it from the store.

Can I rely on the allergen labels?

No, please don’t rely on them alone. Allergen markers and warnings are a convenience based on typical recipes, and they may be incomplete. Ingredients and brands vary, so always check the actual ingredients and product labels. The app is not medical advice. If you have a serious allergy, follow your doctor’s guidance.

Where do the dish photos come from?

Most photos are from Wikimedia Commons and are used under their Creative Commons licenses. The rest are from Unsplash. Authors and licenses are listed on the Photo Credits page.
